Cumin is a very commonly used spice, in our day-to-day food cultures, either in the form of whole dried seeds or as grounded powder.


Benefits, which I observed personally, are:

  • Improves digestion.

  • Gives relief for stomach pain, especially when gastric trouble or bloating occurs.

  • Gives relief from menstrual cramps.

  • Even good for babies, for improving digestion.


Even if you dont like drinking Jeera water regularly, take it when you have in-digestion. 

Having Hot Jeera water immediately, also give you relief from pain.


  • Boil 1 or 2 teaspoon of Jeera seeds into 2 cups of water.

  • Boil until it reduces to half.

  • Strain into cup.

  • Drink warm.


Very simple and easy Natural Home Remedy. I atleast make sure to drink it, on a regular basis.
Note: Some people might be allergic to Cumin, in such case, they should avoid having this Jeera water.
